General Meeting Madness

February 6, 2016 by Craig Zygmunt

MOCSEM's monthly general meetings are the social lifeline of the club. They offer an oppurtunity to share critical info about club activities, mingle with fellow enthusiasts and see presentations from industry insiders. A key part of the meetings going back all the way to the birth of MOCSEM is the availability of dinner prior to the start of the meeting. At our current regular location,

Warren Valley, we offer a buffet dinner, which has received somewhat mixed reviews. It has also become a bit of a financial burden for the club because of the difference between what the club pays for the dinner and what is collected from each person who chooses to eat dinner. Last year, the club lost over $7,000 on dinners at General Meetings.

Becuse of this MOCSEM is reviewing general meeting options, including location options and dinner offerings. You can help us by responding to the poll below and tell us how you feel about having dinner at the general meetings.

General Meeting Dinners

How do you feel about the dinner options that are available at the MOCSEM General Meetings?

I eat dinner ever month at the meeting and will continue to.
I occasionally eat dinner if I like the menu.
I never eat dinner now, but I would if the quality of the dinner was better.
I'm not interested in eating dinner at General Meetings.
