Wondering if Mother Nature thinks it’s funny to keep playing with us all the way into mid-May? When I asked her that question, she laughed and said that we are getting exactly what May brings – May be warm, May be cold, May rain, May snow, May be sunny!
2026 Mustang Memories Worker Sign-Up is live! It takes a small army of volunteers to be successful, so please consider pitching in for a couple hours. Also, don’t forget to grab some Show cards to distribute at other cruise-ins/events throughout the summer!
We would like to thank the members that brought their vehicles out for our first “Generational Display” during our social hour before the meeting. We had Arthur Scafe (68 GT Fastback), Alan McDonald (89 GT), Robert Marshall (94 GT), Michael Adams (08 Supercharged Bullitt), Joshua Brewer (07 Mustang), and Richard Pool (25 60th Anniversary)! What a great display! If you’re interested in displaying your Mustang at one of the meetings June - September, just send
an email to mustangcorral@wowway.com and we will continue filling up the monthly spots.
We would also like to thank Aaron Siek (and his wife) from the A-Team, for their great presentation on Window Tinting, Wraps, and PPFs. I know I always learn something new from our presenters, and this time was the percentage of tinting that is allowed in Michigan!
A big “Thank-you” also goes out to Josh Smith and Tim Hartge for their appointments to the Board of Directors as the Secretary and Club/Community Relations Director respectfully. Each of them bring their unique perspectives to the club and we are very excited to work with both gentlemen going forward.
We have two MOCSEM sponsored events coming up for May! The first event is a “Meet-up” at Culvers in Westland on May 21 st at 6:00 pm, and our second event is a cruise to Frankenmuth for Lunch at Zehnders on May 30th at 11:00 am. We will post the meet-up locations on the MOCSEM Social Page, Calendar (and send a text) by May 25th for the cruise to Frankenmuth.

For our June meeting, our guest speaker will be our own Ken Rutkowski talking about his 1968 Shelby which has owned since 1971! He will be sharing some very interesting stories throughout his long time ownership of the Shelby! You won’t want to miss this at our June meeting!
