Announcement regarding the "Mini Drag Strip" the MOCSEM event at Wrenchers in Commerce Township this Saturday, July 1.
Regretfully we need to cancel the mini drag strip that was being offered at the event. The Liability, Law Enforcement and Safety hurdles were too high for us to secure with Township officials, so we unfortunately have to cancel that activity. Please note that any sort of street racing or timed race event on public streets is illegal and penalties for the drivers, spectators and sponsoring entities are very stiff, which may include the impounding vehicles that are racing and spectating.
We are still looking forward to a fantastic event with many other activities taking place that day. See you Saturday!
